The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the beach on a hillside
in Arpora overlooking the Goa's beautiful landscape and the Arabian
Sea.
The hotel area is built around a swimming pool and extends over
several floors. In the center of the building is the recreation
room.
The interior of the hotel is a colorful mix of different styles
(Mediterranean, inspired by Gaudi), which matches wonderfully.
Concerning the color composition in the inner room, tones of blue
has been used in all shades with ocher and orange colors as well as
metallic accents, and this stands in chiseled contrast to the
rugged rocky area, whose brownish-red stones and the old roof tiles
assimilate perfectly in the environment. The design is done by the
architect Dean D'Cruz.
There is a breakfast area, bar and restaurant in the pavilion-style
with the view of the pool, coconut plantations and the skyline.
There, guests are served with a mix of Italian and French cuisine
with some local ingredients, gear to the international guests.
The eight rooms are named after the eight elements of Indian
mythology - air, fire, water, soul, moon, sun, stars, earth.
Meanwhile, the hotel has been expanded to four rooms. Based on the
elements, each room is individually decorated.
The Nilaya Hermitage is known for its legendary Christmas and New
Year's Eve parties, which attract many visitors.
