Policy Regarding CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE
In the event you need to cancel your travel arrangements for any
reason, we must be notified in writing prior to your arrival as
outlined below. Based on the number of days prior to your arrival
that you notify us in writing about the cancellation of your
travel arrangements, you will be charged a cancellation fee. The
cancellation fees will be based on the time and the date (which
will determine the number of days prior to arrival) we receive
your letter notifying us of your cancellation.
Once you have booked your Tour with Classic Holidays (India)
Pvt. Ltd., no matter when you send your letter notifying us
that you are cancelling your travel arrangements any cancellation
will automatically incur a minimum 10% service charge. Other
Cancellation charges above and beyond the minimum 10% service
charge includes a percentage of the total cost of the Tour and any
actual service cost including train tickets, airline tickets, and
any other costs incurred by Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd.
prior to the Tour. Cancellation fees are as follows:
. 120 days prior to arrival - 5% of the Tour + Actual service cost
(like train tickets etc.)
. 120 - 61 days prior to arrival - 10% of the Tour + Actual
service cost
. 60 - 31 days prior to arrival - 25% of the Tour + Actual service
cost
. 30 - 16 days prior to arrival - 40% of the Tour + Actual service
cost
. 15 - 07 days prior to arrival - 60% of the tour + Actual service
cost.
. 06 days - 72 hours prior to arrival - 75% of the tour + Actual
service cost.
. Less than 72hours or No Show - No Refund
A separate cancellation policy is applicable to special train
journeys--including Palace on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Royal Orient
and other--and/or high-peak season hotel bookings (from 20th
December to 15th January). You will be advised of any separate
cancellation policy applicable to your travel arrangements at the
time of your Tour booking.
There is also a separate cancellation policy for some hotels -
such as the Oberoi Hotels, New Delhi , Amar Vilas Agra, Raj Vilas
Jaipur , Vanya Vilas Ranthambhore, Udaivilas Udaipur, Trident
hotels, Taj Hotels, Casino Group of Hotels, and Hotel Imperial New
Delhi--as these hotels charge upfront prior to your arrival. If
you cancel your travel arrangements or amend your travel plans no
later than 30 days prior to your arrival, you will be charged 1
night's stay. However if you cancel or amend your travel
arrangements 8 days prior to arrival, there will be no refund of
your hotel charge.
Some hotels require a non-refundable deposit at the time of
booking. Those hotels include hotels in Goa during peak period,
Bangaram Island Resort - Lakshdweep, hotels in the Buddhist sector
, Port Blair, Surya Samudra in Kovalam, Kabini River Lodge, Teekhi
Magri in Rajasthan, Haveli Braj Bhushan Ji in Bundi Rajasthan,
Hospet and Badami, the Maldives and others. Please check with us
regarding the refund policy for the above mentioned hotels.
If you cancel your trip after commencement, your refund would be
restricted to a limited amount dependent upon the amount Classic
Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd. would be able to recover from the
hotels. You will not be issued a refund for unused hotel
accommodations, chartered transportation, or guide services; or
missed meals while on your trip.
ALTERATIONS TO THE TOUR: Occasionally we may need to make changes
to your travel arrangements, and we will advise you of such
changes at the earliest possible date. These changes may be the
result of a major event or similar reasons beyond our control,
delays in departures, weather conditions, overbooking or closure
of a hotel, strikes, riots, decisions by State Governments or
Tourist Organizations, alteration to the itinerary, or any other
local situations happening at a planned destination. We will offer
alternative arrangements if possible. If we cannot find a
comparable alternate destination, Classic Holidays (India) Pvt.
Ltd. will issue you a refund commensurate with the nature of the
change.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We encourage you to obtain travel insurance from
your local travel insurance provider prior to commencing on your
journey. |

Arrival and Departure Policy
Check In: 1200 Hours
Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early
check-in, the reservation needs to be made beginning the prior
night.
Check Out: 1200 Hours
Late check-outs are available on request and subject to
availability and an additional fee.
Mode of Payment
Advance payment can be made through wire transfer to our bank.
Upon arrival in INDIA, you can make a cash payment. If you prefer
to pay by credit card, a small bank processing fee will be applied
to the amount being paid.

Our liabilities & limitations
Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd. makes all efforts to maintain
the contract made between our organization and our customers.
However there are always the possibility that airfares, entrance
fees at museums, and fuel charges can be raised without notice
from Government authorities. In such FORCE MAJEUR, the difference
in the original and additional cost would be borne by the
customers. Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd., Agra acts only in
the capacity of an agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters,
railways and contractors providing other services. All exchange
orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by Classic Holidays
(India) Pvt. Ltd. are issued subject to terms and conditions under
which these services are provided by the actual suppliers.
All itineraries are intended to provide a general idea of the
likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road
conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may
dictate itinerary changes either before the tour begins or during
the tour. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the
interest of the participant's safety, comfort and general well
being.
Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by
Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd. with the hotels, airlines etc,
however the hotels and airlines retain the right to modify the
rates without notice. In case of such changes, the rates quoted
before the modification can be changed by us according to the
modifications made by the hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings
are based on the hotel's usual check in and check out time unless
indicated in the itinerary.
Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd. shall not be responsible for
any delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred -
directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight
cancellations, accident, breakdown of transportation, weather,
sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest
or any such incidents.
Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd. shall not be responsible for
any loss, injury or damage to person or property in connection
with any accommodation, transportation or other services during
the trip as the direct or indirect result of any act of GOD,
dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment,
breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots,
thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or defaults, or any other
causes beyond our control.
Classic Holidays (India) Pvt. Ltd. does not hold any insurance
policy covering unplanned expenses for an accident, sickness, loss
due to theft, or any other incidents resulting in loss, injury or
damage to person or property. Visitors are advised to make
insurance arrangements in their home country prior to arrival in
India. All baggage and personal property are at risk during
transport and at the hotels, and is the full responsibility of the
traveler. Our transport is insured as per the Indian Motor
Vehicles Act and claims, if any, will be made as per the rules of
the Insurance Companies in Indian Rupees. |
